What You Will Do

• Work with customers to resolve a wide range of issues with their Confluent deployments.
• Contribute to process development — as a small team, we’re looking for people who want to help us lay the foundation for efficient growth and a best-in-class culture.
• Communicate with our core engineering team to provide real-time product feedback from the field.
• Improve product documentation and author knowledge base articles.
• Create and review product demos and internal tooling.
• Work closely with the team behind Apache Kafka.

What You Will Bring

• Excitement in learning about streaming data and becoming a domain expert in the Confluent Data Stream Platform.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Java or Scala.
• Apache Flink production experience is a plus.
• Experience with Golang, Python, C / C++, C# is a plus.
• Experience diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving customer issues.
• Desire to make customers successful through direct interaction.
• At least two of the following: experience troubleshooting applications on Linux, operational knowledge of Java applications, or experience with distributed systems like Kafka, Flink, Spark.
