What You Will Do:

• Assist customers in resolving issues related to their Confluent deployments
• Contribute to process development to help our small team grow efficiently while maintaining a strong culture
• Provide real-time product feedback to our core engineering team
• Enhance product documentation and create knowledge base articles
• Develop and review product demos and internal tools
• Collaborate closely with the team behind Apache Kafka

What You Will Bring:

• Enthusiasm for learning about streaming data and becoming a domain expert in the Confluent Data Stream Platform
• Proficiency in Java or Scala
• Experience with Apache Flink is a plus
• Knowledge of Golang, Python, C / C++, C# is a plus
• Experience diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving customer issues
• A desire to help customers succeed through direct interaction
• Two out of the following three:
• Experience troubleshooting applications on Linux (resource contention, network issues, etc.)
• Operational knowledge of Java applications (stack, jmap, etc.)
• Experience with distributed systems like Kafka, Flink, Spark, etc.
