Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Technical Support Coordinator for nationwide technology installation projects in major retail environments. You will be the primary liaison for field technicians, providing real-time support, troubleshooting, and status updates while coordinating installation activities.

This on-site, contract role is based in Middleton, WI. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, able to manage multiple tasks, document activity accurately, and escalate issues to ensure timely

Qualifications

Pursuing or have completed an IT degree, certification, or related training.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
Comfortable with databases, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for field technicians; handle inbound support calls.
Make outbound calls to gather status updates and resolve issues.
Document activity and project progress in company systems.
Coordinate next steps with technicians performing installation and service work.
Verify site arrangements and prerequisites before scheduling work.
Confirm successful installation and functionality post-completion.
Manage and close service requests in ServiceNow and other systems.
Enter project updates and maintain records per processes.
Escalate issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
