Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Communications Infrastructure Project Coordinator in a hybrid, contract role based in Waukesha, WI. You will coordinate communications infrastructure across planning, engineering, construction, and field teams to ensure accurate asset management and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong project coordination skills and foundational knowledge of telecommunications, networking, and technical documentation, with occasional site visits

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure, telecom, networking, construction, engineering, or utility project environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, schedules, stakeholders, and technical activities.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications, networking, and control systems activities across project lifecycle.
• Review engineering scopes and plans to identify communications infrastructure requirements.
• Act as liaison between engineering, construction, telecommunications, operations and field teams.
• Ensure infrastructure requirements are integrated into project plans and schedules.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while updating stakeholders on readiness and status.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates on infrastructure readiness.
