Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Technical Support Coordinator for nationwide technology installation projects, onsite in Middleton, WI. The role supports field technicians with real-time troubleshooting, status tracking, and coordination through the installation process.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable communicating with technicians, documenting updates, and ensuring successful deployments. This is a first-shift, onsite contract position with TEKsystems.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or completed an IT degree, certification, or related training.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
Familiar with databases, ticketing systems, and MS Office.
Able to troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for field technicians; handle inbound support calls and requests.
Make outbound calls to gather status updates, provide guidance, and resolve issues that affect completion.
Document technician activity, project progress, and support interactions in company systems.
Coordinate next steps with technicians performing installation and service work.
Verify site arrangements, equipment deliveries, and prerequisites before scheduling work.
Confirm successful installation and functionality after project completion.
Manage and close service requests in ServiceNow and other systems.
Enter project updates and maintain records per established processes.
Escalate issues and coordinate resolutions for timely completion.
