Job summary

Ashworth Bros., Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to bridge customers, sales, engineering, and operations. You will translate customer requirements into engineered product solutions, support quotation and design efforts, and ensure technical accuracy from concept through execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with customer-facing communication and commercial awareness, including collaboration with R&D to expand product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
• 3-5 years of Product/Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Proficient in 3D modeling; Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Familiar with document control; Autodesk Vault experience preferred.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S.
• Familiar with OSHA compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into engineered product solutions.
• Support quotation and design efforts.
• Troubleshoot field applications.
• Analyze product failures for improvement.
• Work with R&D Engineering to expand product lines.
• Provide installation and troubleshooting support for service groups.
