Job summary

Crane Engineering Sales LLC is seeking an Application Engineer to blend sales acumen with technical engineering knowledge in the Midwest market. The role focuses on supporting customers and sales staff, providing product training, and delivering precise quotations and technical support for projects.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least one year of related experience, and the ability to work with vendor software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
Minimum of one year related experience or training.
Engineering professional with industry/educational experience.
Customer-service focused and able to respond to inquiries.
Able to handle a varied, fast-paced workload.
Well-organized and self-directed team player.
Ability to work with vendor-based software.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains product and application knowledge for internal and external customers.
Supports sales and management staff with major projects; assists office and warehouse with information.
Provides customer and employee product training and sales call technical support.
Provides technical sales and marketing support to customers and staff.
Provides high-quality quotations for specific applications as outlined by the customer or Account Manager.
Accurately prices, verifies contractual obligations, internal costs, and stock/drop-shipments.
Develops product and application knowledge to service customers and sales staff.
May perform other duties as assigned.
