Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Technical Advisor to provide expert technical advice and collaborate with the sales team to design Canon solutions tailored to client needs. The role emphasizes consultative sales, process improvements, and technical execution to act as a trusted advisor to internal Sales staff.

The position supports hybrid work with a strong focus on customer-facing collaboration, solution design, and revenue initiatives across Software Solutions and Professional Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5+ years successfully supporting software sales with an internal Sales team is required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers, sponsors and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities in business processes.
• Generate high-level system requirements based on customer needs, budget and schedule.
• Develop Proof of Concept (POC) for customer review and approval when needed.
• Develop a Statement of Work (SOW) outlining customer requirements, responsibilities, and deliverables.
