Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy and related programs for our service and construction teams. The role involves frequent travel (50–75%) to support a nationwide training network.

You will develop content, partner with technical schools across the US, assist with onboarding and interviews, and measure training impact to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience applying adult learning theory to corporate training.
• Proven ability to design and develop instructional materials.
• Experience delivering training in multiple formats (in-person, virtual, on-the-job).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create training content aligned with best practices.
• Support apprenticeship/entry-level programs for technicians.
• Partner with technical schools to build talent pipelines.
• Support interview, onboarding, and regional hiring.
• Evaluate and improve training programs based on data.
• Test learning technologies to boost engagement and outcomes.
