Job summary

Progress Residential® is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy and other programs for service and construction staff. This role involves 50–75% travel and requires creating effective training content, supporting apprenticeships, and building relationships with technical schools to foster talent pipelines across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and learning and development best practices.
• Experience designing instructional materials in various media.

Responsibilities

• Create training content aligned with best practices.
• Support apprenticeship or entry-level technician programs and field trainers.
• Develop relationships with technical schools to build talent pipelines across the US.
• Provide interview, hiring and onboarding support for regional markets.
• Identify and implement skill-based curricula for frontline employees.
• Evaluate training programs and suggest improvements for learner performance.
• Test learning technologies to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Collect and analyze learning data to measure training impact.
