Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy and related programs for our service and construction staff, with travel to support nationwide initiatives. You will design content, collaborate with leading technical schools, and help shape talent pipelines across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in learning & development.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and L&D best practices.
• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC, construction, and/or maintenance.
• Experience designing instructional materials in various media.
• Flexibility to deliver training in classroom, virtual, on-the-job, synchronous or asynchronous formats.

Responsibilities

• Create training content aligned with best practices.
• Support apprenticeship or entry-level technician programs and field trainers.
• Develop relationships with technical schools and colleges nationwide.
• Provide interview, hiring and onboarding support for regional markets.
• Identify and implement skill-based curricula for frontline employees.
• Evaluate training programs and suggest improvements for performance.
