Job summary

Progress Residential University is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver the Technical Skills Academy and other programs for service and construction staff. This role involves travel 50–75% and requires developing curricula to meet business needs.

The ideal candidate has a background in HR/L&D with a focus on adult learning, strong communication, and the ability to adapt training across formats. A passion for scaling training and building talent pipelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Learning and Development, Education or related field.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and L&D best practices.
• Experience in frontline/craft roles in residential construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create training content aligned with best practices.
• Support apprenticeship/entry-level programs and field trainers.
• Develop relationships with technical schools to build talent pipelines.
• Provide interview, hiring and onboarding support for regional markets.
