Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to deliver Progress Residential University’s Technical Skills Academy and other development programs for service and construction staff. The role requires frequent travel (50–75%) and a focus on building knowledge, skills, and competencies to meet business needs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in adult learning, instructional design, and experience creating engaging training across classroom, virtual, and on-the-job

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and L&D best practices.
• Experience delivering training across formats.
• Ability to translate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Create training content aligned with best practices.
• Support apprenticeship/entry-level programs.
• Build relationships with technical schools to build talent pipelines.
• Provide interview, hiring and onboarding support for regional markets.
• Identify and implement skill-based curricula.
• Evaluate training programs and measure impact.
• Test learning technologies and data-driven training improvements.
• Communicate training effectiveness and results.
