Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to support Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, providing expertise in RCx and MEP design for multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare environments.

This role collaborates with the engineer of record, mentors TS staff, and ensures high-quality execution while traveling 30-40% to job sites and offices. A bachelor’s in engineering and a PE license are required, with 5+ years in engineering design or retro-commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and analyze complex systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.
• Coordinates site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and scope requirements.
• Develop energy conservation strategies for retro-commissioning projects.
• Assist design teams with integration of energy conservation strategies.
• Reviews RFPs for equipment/services procurement to ensure outcomes.
• Reviews critical equipment and system submittals for conformance.
• Conducts commissioning reviews and peer reviews of design documents.
• Troubleshoots equipment/system installation and setup problems.
• Completes technical reports and supports new tools for project execution.
• Upholds ENFRA brand through excellence in work execution.
