The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers of record, training for Technical Services staff, and delivering energy and operational performance outcomes with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Proven leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to develop and mentor others.
• Advanced ability to problem solve, analyze complex systems, and manage competing project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Independently executes all technical design, pre-construction, and construction-phase engineering tasks.
• Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and requirements to complete the scope of work.
• Integrates energy conservation strategies for a unified energy management approach.
• Collaborates with project engineering to ensure alignment with codes, standards, and best practices.
• Advises the project team on technical resources to meet outcomes.
• Troubleshoots complex equipment and system installations and upgrades.
• Develops new tools supporting project execution.
• Provides leadership and mentoring within Technical Services.
• Develops training material and delivers post-implementation operations training.
