Job summary

RESA Power in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technical Service Manager to lead field teams, mentor technicians, and grow technical and manufacturing client relationships. The role emphasizes work across heavy industrial and utility environments, with focus on safety, training, and project profitability.

You will coordinate staffing, review quotations and test results, and work with leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in technical service management.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA standards.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing or military electrical programs preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the location and department.
• Hire and train direct reports; conduct reviews and develop goals.
• Mentor technicians; audit performance and build training plans.
• Schedule local team work and coordinate larger job timelines.
• Provide technical/practical options; prepare quotes and review test reports.
• Maintain customer relationships with internal and external clients.
• Ensure profitability targets are met for jobs and projects.
• Collaborate with VP/GM on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop safety records with HSE and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare diverse reports and handle out-of-town assignments as needed.
