Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an experienced polyurethane formulator in rigid foams to join our product and application development team as a Technical Service and Development Scientist in Marietta, GA.

You will lead technical interactions with customers, develop business cases, and support trials and scale-up from lab to production while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet growth, performance, and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Military experience at or above US E5 or Canadian ranks qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems with defined scope.
• Develops hypotheses, plans and executes experiments; interprets results.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer sites.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing.
• Documents work in reports and presentations.
