Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Service and Development Scientist in Marietta, GA to lead customer technical interactions and collaborate across technical, commercial and manufacturing teams.

The role focuses on polyurethane rigid foam, applying the scientific method to develop new products and support scale-up from lab to production. Independence and strong communication are essential as you work with cross-functional teams to meet growth objectives and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years experience in rigid polyurethane foam formulations.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems within defined scope.
• Plans and executes experiments; interprets results and refines hypotheses.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer sites.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing.
• Contributes to intellectual capital and protects Dow’s IP when working with customers.
• Engages with external professional organizations to stay abreast of technology and market trends.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations.
