Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Service and Development Scientist in Marietta, GA to lead customer interactions, apply the scientific method, and collaborate across technical, commercial and manufacturing functions.

You will develop value-creating solutions, run experiments, support trials and help scale new products from lab to production, with ~30% travel and emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in rigid polyurethane foams.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems with defined scope.
• Develops hypotheses, plans and runs experiments; interprets results.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer sites.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations; protects Dow’s IP.
