Job summary

NEFF Automation is seeking a Sales Team Leader to guide and coach a high-performing sales team in the Franklin, MA area. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, mentoring Technical Sales Representatives, and serving as a technical resource for the group.

The position emphasizes developing a strong bench, achieving sales goals, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and Neff Group partners. A valid driver’s license and travel are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years proven sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology with robotics/PLC controls, or in Business/Marketing/ Psychology/Communication/Organizational Development.
• Strong, demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, and develops new Technical Sales Representatives, Technical Sales Specialists and Key Account Managers.
• Develops a virtual bench.
• Works closely with team members to achieve planned performance, meet sales goals, and coach Account Managers while generating and sustaining trust.
• Displays interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and motivate different personalities.
• Shows leadership ability to develop team members into top performers.
• Works with under-performing team members to create and implement corrective action plans.
• Visits customers of assigned team members.
• Ensures team members achieve a minimum technical proficiency in all disciplines.
• Determines business potential for Neff Group products or services and assigned accounts when necessary.
• Reviews customer activities quarterly with Account Managers and strategizes growth.
• Participates in training and development opportunities and has working knowledge of Neff Group products and services.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a passenger vehicle without restrictions to meet position requirements.
