Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join its industry-leading sales team in Birmingham, AL. You will drive revenue and profit growth in targeted accounts using a consultative approach, building relationships and selling Nalco Water innovations to current customers.

You’ll develop plans, understand business needs, provide technical support, and engage in problem solving to ensure customers operate at optimal levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Technical sales or field sales support experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and assigned competitively-held accounts to meet profit goals.
• Understand business needs and propose continuous improvement and innovation plans to grow sales.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including plant or facility executives.
• Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve challenges; escalate as required.
• Analyze systems, interpret data, and provide written recommendations for optimal customer operations.
• Sell Nalco Water innovations and technology to promote long-term relationships.
