Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support Hypersteel® Cold Form Buildings, acting as a liaison between sales and customers for design support, software troubleshooting, and assisting with engineering-related order changes. This role includes on-site deployments as needed and requires a strong technical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years equivalent experience in the Construction Industry
• 2 years of steel building design and/or erection experience
• Track record of understanding customer and market needs
• Self-starter able to manage multiple projects independently
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, CRM, and ERP order softwares
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skill
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Occasional lifting of product samples up to 25 lbs
• Proactive team thinker and customer-centric

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other industry partners
• Support multiple sales channels including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers
• Work across a brand-agnostic environment, supporting multiple product lines and routes to market
• Train customers on technology platforms, product and process details
• Oversee video training and product manuals to discuss onsite challenges
• Help customers understand metal building systems, product applications, and installation processes
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across various customer segments
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer and project success
• Assist customers with navigating systems, processes, and project coordination
• Support business development initiatives expanding adoption of light gauge steel solutions
• Provide high level of customer service and manage expectations
• Build credibility with customers through communication and product knowledge
• Visit job sites to validate inventory management and installation procedures
