Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support Hypersteel® Cold Form Buildings. You will bridge sales and customers for design support, troubleshoot software, and assist with engineering-related order changes.

Occasional on-site deployment to customers’ locations or tradeshows is required. The role emphasizes a strong technical mindset, excellent communication, and experience in metal buildings, roofing, wall panels or construction products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years equivalent experience in the Construction Industry.
• 2 years of steel building design and/or erection experience.
• Strong communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects and general contractors.
• Support multiple sales channels including direct retail, distribution and dealer networks.
• Work across brand-agnostic environment supporting multiple product lines.
• Train customers on technology platforms, product and process details.
• Oversee video training and product manuals for onsite challenges.
• Help customers understand metal building systems, applications and installation.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across segments.
• Collaborate with customer service, operations, engineering and sales leadership.
• Assist customers with navigating systems, processes, project coordination and product selection.
• Support business development to expand adoption of light gauge steel solutions.
• Provide high level customer service and manage expectations.
• Build credibility with customers via communication, knowledge and responsiveness.
• Visit job sites to validate inventory, compliance and installation procedures.
