Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in the United States is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support Hypersteel Cold Form Buildings. You will bridge sales and engineering, provide design support, troubleshoot software, and assist with order changes on site at times.

The role requires a technical mindset, strong communication, and experience in metal building products. Travel up to 50% is expected as you visit sites and partner with architects, builders and distributors to drive project wins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years equivalent construction industry experience.
• 2 years of steel building design/erection experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, CRM, and ERP order software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other key industry partners.
• Support multiple sales channels including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Work across a brand‑agnostic environment, supporting multiple product lines and routes to market.
• Train customers on the technology platforms, product and process details to support them through the sales and building process.
• Oversee video training and product manuals to discuss onsite challenges and issues.
• Help customers understand metal building systems, product applications, and installation processes.
