Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for the San Jose, CA region to secure and grow key architect, designer, contractor, distributor, and end-user accounts.

You will own performance metrics, manage accounts, and drive product specifications and opportunities in the assigned territory. The role requires building trusted partnerships, delivering technical collateral, and achieving annual sales goals while maintaining Tremco’s standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ related experience and/or training
• Construction knowledge (waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular)
• Basic knowledge of product chemistry

Responsibilities

• Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations.
• Works with existing accounts and develops new opportunities to increase Tremco CPG product usage in the territory.
• Manages accounts to establish business development opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Drives product specifications and project opportunities throughout the territory.
• Develops trusted partnerships and advisory relationships with customers focusing on problem identification and resolution.
• Prepares and delivers strategic business/territory plans with monthly forecasts.
• Follows the standard sales process to identify prospects, gain commitment, and close deals.
• Maintains professional image by adhering to policies, pricing, and procedures.
• Develops technical, high quality collateral and presentations for the sales process.
• Collaborates on product knowledge training with internal and external customers.
• Uses technology daily for lead generation, account maintenance, and forecasting.
• Attends industry conventions and trade shows; maintains product knowledge across lines.
• Performs other related duties as required.
