Sartorius is seeking a Senior Technical Sales professional in the Cambridge - Marlborough, MA area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality demos, trials, and technical validation in close partnership with Central Sales to strengthen opportunity progression and portfolio adoption.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline and 5+ years in technical sales, applications consulting, or pre-sales, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in technical sales, applications consulting, or pre-sales in a scientific or technical environment.
Hunter mindset with ability to influence and guide high-skill specialists.
Strong understanding of workflows, applications, and portfolio across assigned solution areas.
Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes with solid documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality demos, trials, and technical validation in partnership with Central Sales.
Coordinate priorities, support skill development, and align engagement with Business Unit expectations.
Ensure timely technical validation work to improve customer fit, accelerate adoption, and drive conversion.
Oversee early-stage opportunity creation with structured qualification and timely engagement.
Maintain rigorous CRM documentation of activities, opportunities, and interactions for accurate forecasting.
