Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand design, application, and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience in sales processes, leadership, and communication skills, with opportunities to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program during the entire summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
• Some positions may be remote while others may require hybrid or onsite.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, sales and service calls, customer meetings with experienced account managers.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as daily point-of-contact and contribute to solution-making.
