Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a motivated student for a 12-week Summer internship in technical sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers and gain exposure to HVAC equipment, building automation, and service offerings.

You will develop business, engineering, and communication skills while interacting with customers and mentors. Some roles may be remote or hybrid, with on-site opportunities at North America facilities; compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the summer internship.
• Preferred majors include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point of contact to help solve problems.
