Job summary

Trane Technologies in North America is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, designed to develop your engineering and sales skills. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn about HVAC systems, building automation, and service offerings, and gain hands-on experience across North America.

Qualifications include enrolled in Engineering, completion of at least sophomore year, and U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the entire duration of the internship.
• Must have completed at least their sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, building controls and services.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Follow steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Value relationship with customers and be daily contact for solution-making.
