Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12-week Summer internship program in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with industry-leading Sales Account Managers, learn the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, and gain hands-on exposure to the internship lifecycle. You must be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree and pursuing a related field.

A U.S. work authorization is required; some roles may be remote or hybrid, with travel of less than 15% in defined

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree throughout the internship.
• Preferred fields: Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before start of internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Demonstrates a passion for learning in technical fields and communicating engineering solutions.
• Some postings may be remote while others are hybrid or onsite.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months; no major infractions in 3 years.
• Travel: <15% in defined geography.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Learn steps sales engineers take from start to finish and contribute hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact for solutions.
