Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales designed for students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering, or related fields. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn design, application and sale of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings.

This on-site internship in the United States provides exposure to the full sales process, with mentorship, hands-on experience, and potential pathway to our Graduate

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the entire summer internship.
• Preferred fields include Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, Engineering.
• U.S. citizenship or right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend meetings and site visits with mentors to learn the sales process end-to-end.
• Participate in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact and help solution-making.
