Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated students to join a 12-week Summer internship program in Technical Sales, designed to develop your technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills.

You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, attend meetings with mentors, and gain hands-on experience that can lead to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for the full duration of the internship.
• Preferred fields include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Must have completed sophomore year before the internship starts.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields to understand and communicate engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps during the internship.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact for solution building.
