Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, giving you hands-on exposure to sales engineering and HVAC solutions across commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

You will work with seasoned Sales Account Managers, learn the design, application, and sale of systems and controls, and participate in meetings and customer interactions to develop practical, career-ready skills.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full internship duration.
• Preferred fields: Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, Engineering.
• Candidates must be sophomores or second-year before start of the summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact in solution-making.
