Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, designed to develop your engineering and leadership skills while exposing you to HVAC systems and building automation. You will work with Sales Account Managers and gain hands-on experience in design, application, and customer engagements.

The program provides a pathway to our Graduate Training Program after graduation; travel is limited, with many roles onsite or hybrid across North America.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the internship.
• Must have completed sophomore year before start of internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Demonstrated passion for learning in technical fields.
• Some positions may be remote; others hybrid or on-site across North America.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application, and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer visits with mentors.
• Learn through hands-on participation in the sales process from start to finish.
• Build ownership and exceptional communication with customers.
