Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a hands-on Summer Internship in Technical Sales. You will work alongside Sales Account Managers to learn the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and building controls across North America.

The program emphasizes mentorship, real-world customer engagement, and developing professional skills in a structured internship. Applicants must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full internship duration.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and ability to provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers on opportunities.
• Understand design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors and account managers.
• Follow sales engineer steps from start to finish during internship.
• Build ownership and understanding of the solution-making process with customers.
