Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, designed to develop your technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn system design and application, and explore career paths through our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Open to enrolled Engineering students who have completed at least their sophomore year, and who can work on-site across North America.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering during the entire internship.
• Completed at least the sophomore year before start date.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Demonstrated passion for continuous learning in technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand needs.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions and customer visits with mentors.
• Participate hands-on in internship steps from start to finish.
• Build strong customer relationships and ownership in solution development.
