Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers, learning the design, application and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.

The program develops technical, business, leadership and communication skills with mentors guiding you throughout the internship. Open to enrolled Engineering students (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering during the entire internship.
• U.S. citizenship or work authorization without sponsorship.
• Interest in technical sales and building systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand needs.
• Learn design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales and service meetings, calls, and customer visits with mentors.
• Gain hands-on experience across steps of the sales process during internship.
• Develop relationships with customers, acting as a daily point of contact.
