Goetze Valves NA, Inc. is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to support customers and sales activities across North America. This is a customer-facing role combining application support, product selection, quotations, order support, and proactive follow-up.

The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with strong communication and sales skills, and is comfortable managing inquiries from initial contact through quotation and order. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering, technical, or related degree preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in technical sales or related role.
• Experience with industrial products like valves is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read technical specifications and drawings.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries with technical and commercial support.
• Review applications, specifications, drawings, and requirements.
• Perform technical calculations for valve sizing.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and supporting technical documentation.
• Follow up on quotations, leads and opportunities to drive sales.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and leadership on technical questions.
