Job summary

Amada is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow and maintain positive relationships with customers in the designated territory and aggressively develop new prospects. You will maximize product sales with the Amada Team across product sales, service and aftermarket support.

You will regularly call on established customers, educate on new Amada technologies, and coordinate with internal departments to process orders efficiently. Frequent travel within territory is required.

Qualifications

• Professional sales experience.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Experience in creating sales leads and prospects.
• Ability to build positive business rapport with existing and new clients.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product sales and achieve all Sales & Activity Targets.
• Inform and educate customers on new technologies and advancements by Amada.
• Make routine sales calls on established customers.
• Aggressively develop new accounts using guides and cold calling.
• Encourage and perform regular customer demos at Solution and Technical Centers.
• Maximize customer attendance and participation in Solution Center & Technical Center events.
• Provide status reports and call reports to Regional Manager.
• Coordinate the sales order process through Amada departments to ensure expeditious processing.
• Use the KM system to generate technical proposals and update customer data.
• Keep informed of product knowledge and pricing information and updates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
