Job summary

Amada America, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow and maintain relationships with customers while aggressively developing new prospects.

You will leverage the Amada Team across Product Specialists, Applications & Verification, Service, and support groups to maximize product sales. The role requires identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, conducting demos at Solution and Technical Centers, and coordinating orders through internal teams.

Qualifications

• Professional sales experience is required.
• Highly organized with proven follow-up skills.
• Ability to build positive rapport with clients and identify needs.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product sales and achieve all targets and activities.
• Inform customers on new technologies and Amada advancements.
• Make routine sales calls on established customers.
• Develop new accounts and cold-call prospects.
• Encourage and perform customer demos at Solution/Technical Centers.
• Maximize attendance at events and maintain customer relations.
• Provide status and call reports to Regional Manager.
• Coordinate sales orders through internal departments for expeditious processing.
• Maintain customer data in KM system and generate technical proposals.
• Keep informed of product knowledge and pricing updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
