Job summary

SMS group USA is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer/Specialist in Pittsburgh to manage customer orders and technical sales operations, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction from request to delivery. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical) or a two-year technical degree combined with business experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and interpretations of technical drawings. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) or two-year technical degree with business experience.
• Required to interpret Technical Drawings and materials of construction for accuracy.
• Bilingualism in German, Italian or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and manage technical sales from request to delivery.
• Create RFQs and source parts through approved vendors.
• Track and communicate with customers on quotes for accuracy.
