Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Minimum 5 years experience with industrial steelmaking equipment and facilities.
• Experience in continuous casting design preferred.
• Self-motivated, creative, with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent CAD skills, especially AutoCAD and Creo.

Responsibilities

• Determine equipment references for proposal creation with Sales Managers and Engineering and Automation Departments.
• Create layout drawings and engineering investigations supporting sales projects.
• Manage layout work for proposal preparation.
• Select and adapt reference equipment for new projects.
• Coordinate layout efforts among design departments.
• Provide customer support and liaison with domestic references.
