Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Technical Sales Support Specialist to partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Care teams. You will conduct discovery calls, translate tech features into clear business benefits, and present live and remote demonstrations to help SMB customers.

You will develop configurations, use cases, and training materials to enable successful engagements. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in technical sales or customer-facing IT roles, strong Microsoft 365 and networking knowledge, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
3+ years in technical sales or customer-facing tech support roles.
Strong knowledge of business connectivity, telephony, and Wi‑Fi design.
Experience with SD-WAN, IP addressing, and fixed or mobile 5G/LTE connectivity.

Responsibilities

Provide technical sales support to Field Sales, Call Center, and Business Customer Care teams.
Lead customer discovery calls to understand business needs and growth plans.
Recommend right-sized solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
Provide technical consultation throughout the sales process.
Conduct live and remote product presentations and demonstrations.
Translate technical features into clear customer benefits and practical outcomes.
Create accurate configurations and solution recommendations for proposals.
Develop customer use cases that demonstrate how Sparklight products solve challenges.
Train sales and customer care on product functionality and discovery.
Create sales enablement materials and technical guides.
