Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Technical Recruiter to manage full desk recruiting for mission-critical roles. You will partner with engineering teams, screen and source candidates, and guide them through interviewing and offers in a fast-paced setting.

You will engage with hiring managers at multiple levels, including VP and director, to build a strong talent pipeline, while balancing competing priorities and ensuring a stellar candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years; or 3+ years of recruiter experience in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of technical recruiting experience
• 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience
• Experience with in-house recruiting
• Experience with high volume recruiting
• Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers
• Experience recruiting skilled labor
• Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles
• Full life cycle recruiting from sourcing to closing
• Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting recruiting data
• Ability to distinguish top 50% vs top 5% of talent
• Non-standard recruiting methods: cold calling, events, targeted campaigns
• Interfacing with hiring managers including director/VP levels
• Build strong relationships with managers and candidates
• Present candidates without overselling; influence decisions as SME
• Multi-task with little direction while being an active team member

Responsibilities

• Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback
• Screen candidates who apply to requisitions
• Source candidates, including passive ones
• Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend for interviews
• Give tours to candidates before onsite
• Attend interviews alongside client groups
• Begin offer process including background checks and extending letters
