Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a motivated Recruiter to manage the full recruiting lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers and candidates to deliver an outstanding hiring experience.

You will build talent pipelines and assess top talent while promoting SEL’s culture and values. The ideal candidate has experience in technical recruitment, works independently, and can mentor Recruiting Coordinators while improving recruiting processes.

Qualifications

• BA/related experience; 2+ years recruiting experience.
• Ability to attract candidates and build networks by selling culture.
• Ability to mentor Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive data.
• Strong organizational, writing and speaking skills.
• Team player with eagerness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Promote and sell SEL’s culture and values to attract candidates.
• Follow guidelines to attract, recruit, screen and interview candidates.
• Fill positions efficiently with top talent with minimal oversight.
• Recommend placement of internal and referred candidates.
• Lead and support development and improvement efforts.
• Manage confidential files and privileged information.
• Work independently to define area processes and guidelines.
• Model SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand, Create, Simplify; perform other duties as assigned.
