Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Indiana is seeking a recruiting professional to build pipelines for roles from entry level to senior technical and leadership positions. You will manage the full hiring process, attract top talent, screen candidates, and partner with hiring teams to deliver timely hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to attract/source candidates and build pipelines for various positions and levels.
• Ability to mentor and teach Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data.
• Strong organizational skills related to managing up to 30 positions at a time.
• Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL; Negative drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Promote and sell SEL's culture and values to attract candidates.
• Follow standard recruiting guidelines and principles to attract, recruit, screen and interview candidates.
• Oversee and fill positions efficiently and timely with top talent, with little oversight.
• Recommends placement of internal and referred candidates for entry-level positions.
• Leads and supports the development and implementation of improvement efforts.
• Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
• Work independently to define and follow area processes, work instructions, and guidelines using initiative to propose solutions to problems.
• Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
