Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Pasadena seeks a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for projects and support the Project Manager in cost, schedule, and client satisfaction. You’ll lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with discipline leads from inception to delivery in our Pasadena office.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with 5+ years of engineering and project management experience, PE and PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional registration preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inform PM of all technical issues, decisions, and problems encountered on project.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Controls Lead on execution issues.
• Assist in managing engineering budgets and schedules and document scope changes.
• Develop project engineering procedures aligned with Client and Hargrove standards.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination and resolve design issues.
• Review 3D models focusing on coordination and clash detection.
• Ensure overall quality control of engineering work.
