Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead prototype engagements from discovery through deployment of new technologies within AWS data centers globally.

You will collaborate with networking and infra leadership to define requirements and deployment timelines while maintaining focus on customer experience. The role entails end-to-end program management across multiple projects, delivering scalable processes and rapid improvements in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Write effective project charters based on business requirements for medium to large scale projects.
• Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management, design engineers, operational deployment teams) to define requirements and processes.
• Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs if needed.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
