Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead prototype engagements and deployments within the BaND team for global data center technologies. You will coordinate across Networking leadership and Infra teams to define requirements, timelines, and production deployment plans.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, milestone tracking, defect management, and delivering new deployments in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Write effective project charters based on business requirements for medium to large scale projects.
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects; negotiate trade-offs if needed.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
