Job summary

Amazon AWS seeks a technical program manager to lead prototype engagements from discovery through deployment of a production-ready process for new hardware deployments in AWS data centers globally. Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• 3+ years of data center, network engineering, and/or systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
• Experience in technical program management.

Responsibilities

• Write effective project charters based on business requirements for medium to large scale projects.
• Define requirements and processes with stakeholders (networking engineers, PMs, senior management).
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs.
• Provide regular program progress reporting.
• Own end-to-end program execution and success.
• Handle multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Develop scalable, data-driven process improvements and automation.
• Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
• Align plans with leadership principles and executive expectations.
